Is the fundraising & social enterprise arm of the Chinese Community Centre.

Translated, that means we:

Are entrepreneurial about creating revenue, but this money goes back to supporting our parent Charity, the Chinese Community Centre.

We have 4 main aims:

1. Act as the hub for the Chinese Community in London and UK, drawing together individuals, groups, community organisations and companies
2. Create a sustainable platform to provide a steady flow of income to our parent Charity in tough times where public funding is increasingly scarce and hard to secure
3. Raise the profile of our Charity and the valuable work we do in the Chinese Community
4. Proud of our Chinese heritage we aim to create an identity for Chinese in the UK and ensure we are properly represented in UK society

We will do this by:

Using our web portal aiyaah.com to promote our aims, by:

• Publicising cultural & community events & news
• Aggregating interesting content from the internet that are of interest to the UK Chinese Community
• Directory listings of business and community organisations of interest to the UK Chinese Community
• We also have further functionality coming online – please keep checking back!

Running aiyaah.com events. Examples of recent events:

• Networking evening with Alan Yau, we welcomed 250+ guests to hear the famous restauranteur and creator of Wagamama to speak.
• Speeddating & Singles Parties – all which sold out and have also created successful pairings!
• Parties & Dinners – great chance to socialise and network!
• Becoming a partner for all Chinese community groups and organisations.
